Blum completes its first project, a tunnel under Northwest Boulevard connecting Reynolds High School and its gymnasium.

Frank L. Blum & Company builds Atkins High School, the first building in Winston-Salem to have a steel frame and unit ventilators.

Blum acquires new construction, renovation and addition work on the Bow­man Gray and Eugene Vogler residences, churches includ­ing First Baptist and Calvary Moravian, and institutions such as Hanes Hosiery, Salem College, Wachovia Bank and Piedmont Federal Savings & Loan.

Blum builds the first women’s dormitory at Wake Forest College.
Blum builds War Memorial Coliseum.
Ï㽶ÊÓƵ undertakes meticulous restoration of Historic Moravian Community of Old Salem.

Ï㽶ÊÓƵbuilds Medical Park Hospital, First Federal Savings and Loan, the Science Building and Gramley Dormitory of Salem College, Vogler Funeral Home, and Reynolda Presbyterian Church.

Blum restores the Arista Cotton Mill, which will be converted to the Brookstown Inn.
Ï㽶ÊÓƵbuilds the new campus of the United Methodist Home on Arbor Road.
Blum builds much of the campus of the new Forsyth Country Day School.

Ï㽶ÊÓƵbids its first job at N. C. Baptist Hospital, a new parking deck, in 1984.
Blum transforms the former Carolina Theater into the Roger L. Stevens Center.

The impressive lists of ‘90s projects includes, in part, the Wells Fargo Linden Center, a new Power Plant at N.C. Baptist Hospital, a surgical addition to Medical Park Hospital, and renovation of the Whitaker Rehabilitation Center for Carolina Medcorp.

Ï㽶ÊÓƵbuilds Forsyth County’s first LEED-certified building, the Headquarters of Family Ï㽶ÊÓƵ.

Blum expands its geographic presence by opening three new offices – Greensboro: 2015, Raleigh: 2016, and Asheville: 2017
